Hi! I'm Ou Meksay, Husband, Father, Leader, Encourager

Born in a Thai refugee camp, I came to America with my family as an infant. From humble beginnings, I went on to earn a finance degree from Iowa State University, built and bought businesses, lead hundreds of people, raise a family and pursue what I thought was the American Dream of hustle and grind.

For years, I measured success by achievement: building companies, creating homes, growing organizations and reaching the next goal. From the outside, life looked successful—but life eventually forced me to reconsider what true "wealth" really means and how to really achieve abundance.

In 2021, at 42 years old, I was diagnosed with a brain cancer.

After brain surgery, radiation and two years of chemotherapy, I gained a perspective I never would have chosen—but one I was blessed to receive. I learned that obstacles can be overcome and life is more than what we can see and feel. I realized that true wealth isn’t measured by materials. It is also found in our health, happiness, faith, relationships, time, peace, joy, love and ability to serve, encourage and love others.

That realization became O Positive +.

O Positive + is more than a name or a blood type. It is a mindset and a movement—a reminder that while we can't always control what happens to us, but we can influence what happens within us and what we do next.

I speak not as someone who has life completely figured out, but as a husband, father of four, entrepreneur, broker, builder, refugee and cancer survivor who has experienced both success and struggle—and continues learning through both.

My purpose is simple: to help people become happier, healthier and truly wealthier—not merely wealthy in possessions, but wealthy in life.
